Nelson Chen

I am a PhD student in Professor Marcus’ CFD lab in the Mechanical Engineering Department at University of California, Berkeley. I did my undergraduate at Northwestern University and graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2014.

Currently, I am working on looking into the Great Red Spot on Jupiter using existing 3D spectral CFD methods. In the future, I am interested in doing research with morphing technology.

In my spare time, I like to eat at fancy places, hang out with friends, and do hip-hop dancing.
